A Weekend of Adventure Yoga in Jogjakarta! Stephen returns to Indonesia for a series of workshops, and will teach in Jogjakarta for this first time on October 1 & 2 at Balance Mind Body Soul.

Saturday AM // 9am-12pm (Level 1/2) –  Skill In Action

Yoga is skill in action. If you forget the skill for the sake of “glamorous” poses you are missing out. In the class Stephen will inspire you to be more conscious of your actions so you can get into poses safely and with skill. The more focused your efforts, the more benefit the poses will offer you. In this workshop we will focus on the fundamentals – foundation and standing poses.
This workshop is appropriate for everyone with a regular yoga practice. Options will be offered for Level 1 and Level 2 students.
Saturday PM // 2pm-5pm (Level 1/2) – Who Are You? A Hatha Yoga Class To Challenge You
Are you ready for confrontation? This workshop will challenge you to discover who you are, what you want, and what you need to do to get it. Do you want things to be better? Using yoga, you’ll learn to access the courage and the strength that you need, when you need it. Come ready to face yourself. You will learn more about your hip flexors – what they are, what they do, and how to access them to deepen your yoga practice in ways you possibly never considered before.
This workshop is appropriate for everyone with a regular yoga practice. Options will be offered for Level 1 and Level 2 students.
Sunday AM // 9am-12pm (Level 1 and up) – Wake Up And Smell The Coffee. A Hatha Practice To Wake You Up
Yoga is coffee for your body. Get ready to wake up your body and wake up your mind. Your adventure in yoga, and your adventure in life, begins with waking up. Stephen will help you wake up and break free of what your friends and family think you should be. You already have the courage and the strength to live more, to see more, to be more. You do! Together we’ll wake it up in a workshop that focuses on hip opening and backbends.
This workshop is appropriate for everyone with a regular yoga practice. Options will be offered for students at different levels.
Sunday PM // 2om-5pm – Time To Get Real – An Advanced Led Practice (LEVEL 2/3)
A 3-hour led practice where Stephen shares his practice with students. Come prepared to explore, including advanced postures, in a fun, playful, and adventurous setting. This is a chance to practice with Stephen in the way he works to deepen his own knowledge and skills when he practices on his own. This will be a well-rounded workshop with extra focus on pushing the boundary with your arm-balance skills.
This workshop is appropriate for everyone with a dedicated yoga practice. Options will be offered for students at different levels.
