Here's what you can expect from Adventure Yoga.
This is an Intro To Yoga class for new students, or for students who want a refresher in the basics. 60 minutes isn’t long, so we’ll focus on foundation (what your hands and feet do), modifications, and safety (wrist and knee alignment) in some of the more common poses (asanas). We’ll start with Mountain pose (Standing at the top of your mat, aka Tadasana), Forward Fold (Uttanasana), Half Forward Fold (Ardha Uttanasana), Warrior 1 & 2 (Virabhadrasana 1 & 2) and Triangle (Trikonasana). Stephen’s Intro To Surya Namaskar A & B (Sun Salutations) classes are greats companions to this class.
