Price: 120K IDR (8 USD) drop-in, multi-class packages available, discount for Indonesians and KITAS holders
Power of Now Oasis is set in a lush garden space just meters from Sanur’s white sandy beach. You can enjoy the sea breeze as you practice yoga upstairs in the open-air, eco-friendly bamboo studio. It’s nestled into a corner of the property of the Mercure Resort alongside the beach boardwalk.
It also has a cozy lounge space on the ground floor, with lots of books, information on yoga and fresh juices available.
They offer daily classes and hold several 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings throughout the year. They are also building a new shala, so they will soon have a dedicated training space.
We went to an Iyengar yoga class led by Lisa when we visited. It was a proper Iyengar class with clear instruction and lots of props, yet Lisa added a bit of humour and personality to the class, too. She also did a great job navigating the different levels of practice and English in the room!
We both really enjoyed it and can highly recommend her class if you have some experience in yoga.
With a beautiful space, an amazing location, and talented instructors, Power of Now Oasis must be the best place to practice yoga in Sanur!

SUP Yoga Bali
Contact for meeting location. Practice is somewhere on the sea.
Style: SUP Yoga (Yoga on a Stand-up Paddle Board)
Price: 350K– 450K IDR (24–40 USD)
SUP Yoga Bali was created by a group of water-loving yogis who want to share their passion for the ocean and for yoga with others to bring people closer to their true nature and discover their inner joy.
Sanur beach is perfect for SUP yoga as there are rarely waves near the shore, and the waters are clear, warm, and shallow — allowing you to see the ocean life below.
Classes are usually held in the morning and you need to book ahead. Class isn’t held every day and timing of class depends on the tide. The easiest way to book a SUP yoga class is to contact them through Facebook.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t arrange a convenient time to practice with SUP Yoga Bali when we were in Sanur, so we’ll have to leave it for next time.
