8,008 km so far.
After enjoying five quiet days of recuperation and contemplation, of not having to decide where to eat, or having to find a place to sleep, we are almost ready to be thrown back out into the big wide world.
I have to admit, this last five days, I have started to understand how some people come to the conclusion that they ought to take a 3-month silent retreat.
It’s been lovely to just sit and think, with no pressure to be somewhere or do something or stop wasting our lives.
That will all be over tomorrow, at least for Stephen, who received his yoga teaching schedule for next week. Thirteen classes! It will be a huge change for him, but I know he can’t wait to start teaching.
Stephen’s note: I am hard at work preparing for this major shift in our routine, and yes, very excited about teaching regularly again.
I plan to continue contemplating for a while, figuring out what is next, and also to make some attempt at being productive while we’re in the big city. We shall see… ♥
