Recharging

By Jane Mountain | June 25, 2014

15,351 km so far.

Historically, we have been terrible at rest days. Instead of resting, we tend to expend our energy doing chores, sightseeing, and walking. It takes discipline to rest.

Today, we were remarkably successful at just doing nothing. Having found the excellent Hotel Transit Pasuruan, a brand new hotel, conveniently located right near Carrefour, a donut shop, a decent restaurant, and an Indomaret, we decided we better take advantage and stay two nights.

There was much watching of TV, napping, yoga, and blogging done. And then we went to sleep, to get rested and ready for tomorrow’s ride, which should be the last big climb of of the trip. The photo above is a sneak preview.

Mount Bromo, here we come.
