Setting Intentions for Our Trip

By Jane Mountain | January 1, 2013

A little while ago, I started thinking about the changes I would have to make to make our upcoming bike trip as incredible as I want it to be.

By nature, I am a control freak. I like to know where we’re going, how long it will take to get there, and what will happen along the way.

A long-distance cycling trip makes all of these things impossible.

So here are my intentions for 2013. Maybe you can help me stick with them?
[li]Be open[/li]
[li]Break the rules[/li]
[li]Say yes[/li]
[li]Enjoy people (even the crazy ones)[/li]
[li]Let go of the destination, it’s about the journey[/li]
[li]Throw away the map (figuratively)[/li]
Feel free to share your own 2013 intentions in the comments!
