Update: Sunday May 4, 2014
We have successfully funded 10 wells!
With the one we donated ourselves, that makes 11. Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who dug into their pockets, wallets, and bank accounts to make a big difference for 10 Cambodian families.
We won’t be collecting any more money, but you can still donate directly to 10 Wells For 10 Families. They are also working on an amazing rural school library project that needs your help.
Welcome to our very own M5A fundrive!
So far, we have raised the money for 7 new wells for Cambodian families.
We only have 3 more wells to get to our goal!
We’re leaving Cambodia in just 24 hours, so it’s time to mobilise. In 24 hours we’re shutting down our fundraising efforts, so this is your last chance to help us.
More importantly, you’ll be helping a deserving Cambodian family and their neighbours get access to something that you probably take for granted – clean drinking water.
It only costs $160 to build a well. You can donate as little or as much as you like, but please donate. We’d love to hit our goal before we leave this wonderful country.
If you missed it, you can read all about our trip to our well site here.
Another huge thanks to all of you who’ve already donated! You are our heroes.
And thanks to Heang Song, Allan Lim, and the 10 Wells team for the great pictures and the fantastic work they do.
We will return to regularly scheduled blogging in 24 hours – or sooner, if we hit our goal. ♥
