Unplugging

By Jane Mountain | April 24, 2014

Today, we are heading out to a tropical island to kick back and unwind. Being on semi-permanent holiday is tiring!

The island has no running water, no power grid, and no internet, so instead of reading our blog, you’ll need to read a book or something for a few days. We promise lots of glorious photos of sand, sea, and grass huts when we return.

Hi, I’m Jane, founder and chief blogger on My Five Acres. I’ve lived in six countries and have camped, biked, trekked, kayaked, and explored in 50! At My Five Acres, our mission is to inspire you to live your most adventurous life and help you to travel more and more mindfully.

We actually went to Koh Ta Kiev instead, though Lazy Beach has also been recommended to us. As we say almost daily, “next time”.
